Job Summary: 


  • This position requires functional and technical knowledge in SAP Business Objects (BOBJ/BI) report development. Experience with supply chain processes (SAP APO Demand in particular) as well as integration with other systems is ideal. The individual would be responsible for developing n SAP Business Objects (BOBJ/BI) reports based on functional designs within a project framework.


Responsibilities:


  • Help in requirements gathering and providing technical design based on requirements.

  • Carry out backend (ECC & BW) and frontend (BOBJ) development activities, to satisfy defined business requirements  according to the estimated timeline.

  • Take ownership of part of the system and complete development.

  • Help to resolve project issues and escalate issues within Client organization, as necessary.

  • Perform Unit testing and coordinate with business for integration testing and UAT. Resolve testing issues.

  • Write and timely update Functional/Technical and other documentation required for the Project.

  • Cut over planning and execution and post go-live support.

  • Develop training materials, conduct knowledge transfer session with the Project team.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field

  • 5-7 years of SAP experience

  • 5+ years of experience in

    SAP Business Objects (BOBJ/BI)

    development

 

Skills:

 

  • 5+ years of experience in

    SAP Business Objects (BOBJ/BI)

    development (extraction from SAP and non SAP systems, design and modeling, reporting with BEx)

  • 1+ years of experience in SAP BO 4.0 development (experience in universe development, report development in BO Webi/Analysis for Office, functional/technical specifications design)

  • ABAP

  • BO Data Services – nice to have

  • BI IP experience – nice to have

  • End to end implementation experience

  • Strong knowledge of design techniques and data integration principles
