Opportunity:


  • SpinnakerSCA is forming a new Practice focusing on eCommerce consulting and implementations, initially implementation will be focused on Blue Yonder’s Yantrik’s solution. We are looking for candidates who are passionate about transformation, have deep Retail industry experience and would like to focus their skills in the area of eCommerce.

  • At SpinnakerSCA we are known for our Customer Service, Software Implementation Delivery Excellence and, ability to successfully support customer through times of transformation.

  • As an Enterprise Business Solution Architect, you are required to provide thought leadership to help customers realize eCommerce transformation goals, software implementation goals or process re-engineering goals. You will be a thought leader and create strong enduring relationships with Stakeholders of all levels.


Responsibilities:


  • Overall responsibility for delivering successful eCommerce business solutions and transformations to customers

  • Competency on end-to-end eCommerce business solution architecture; Retail landscape with a focus on Omni Channel Fulfillment solutions and business processes

  • Provide ecommerce process thought leadership to customers and the practice

  • Lead the definition and the development of collateral to support the growth of the practice

  • Producing project artifacts: process mapping, requirements definition, solution design documentation, day-in-the-life process flows, user stories, test plans, test scripts, etc

  • Working closely with Customer representatives and other members of the project team

  • Ensuring functional specifications or user stories are converted into flexible, scalable, and maintainable solution designs by writing, reviewing, and validating clear technical specifications

  • Provide business and process architecture leadership to develop/maintain fulfilment solutions such as Order Data Store (ODS), Inventory Availability, Sourcing and Store Fulfillment (pick/pack/ship)

  • Deliver enhancements/features that will scale to peak volumes without compromising on the SLAs

  • - Help customers with change management activities, check the quality and accuracy of deliverables provided by the extended team ensuring that delivery is without errors and will participate in day to day interactions with clients and team members


Experience / Qualifications


  • Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience

  • At least 5 years experience of Agile/iterative methodologies

  • Experience and or understanding of Spring technologies - SpringBoot, Dependency Injection, AoP, MVC , Web flux is an added advantage

  • Familiarity with emerging technologies such as Machine Learning, AI, Spark, Hadoop, Elasticsearch, Redis and Kafka

  • Experience working in SaaS product environment and expertise in building cloud native applications

  • Ability to create and maintain artifacts, including detailed design documentation and diagrams as needed

  • React quickly and adapt to changes in priorities, circumstances and direction


Industry Experience:


  • Minimum of 15 years deep retail process experience with an understanding of all core retail disciplines; Category

  • Management, Merchandising, Pricing, Promotions, Supply Chain, WMS and ideally eCommerce

  • 8 -10 years of experience in Order Management, Omni Channel Fulfillment and Supply Chain domain

  • Prior experience in Yantriks, IBM Sterling OMS is a plus

  • Prior eCommerce experience is desirable


Education Preferences:


  • Bachelor's degree with a major in Computer Science or equivalent technical field highly preferred


Soft Skills:


  • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with a wide variety of internal personnel and external stakeholders, with emphasis on follow-through and reporting

  • Proven background delivering retail process assessments, “As-Is” and To-Be process map and refinements

  • Continuous improvement mindset and lateral thinking

  • Self-motivated and a quick learner - new technologies, platforms, integrations

  • Able to work flexible hours
