Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Overall, 3-5 years of Technical Consulting experience

  • 2+ years of Sterling OMS Implementation experience

  • Technical skills (Java, XML, XSLT, Javascript, J2EE, Oracle/DB2, Websphere/Weblogic, MQ),

  • Experienced with implementing complex IBM Intelligent Supply Chain use cases

  • Exceptional collaborator who with ability to drive business outcomes across complex organizational

  • Strong customer facing consultative and technical solution design skills

  • Industry domain knowledge in Retail, Consumer, Logistics/Transportation

  • Strong technical knowledge of one or more of the Sterling OMS Products: IBM Sterling OMS, Order

  • Expert/SME for one or more IBM Sterling OMS products

  • Leads small to medium project teams

  • Defines the implementation solution, project scope and effort estimate for a solution work stream

  • Knowledgeable on framework, methodology and underlying technology

  • Keen understanding of the business domain, tools and technologies

  • Creates solution designs and presents to customer

  • Design proof-of-concept solutions for customers

  • Build, Deploy, Debug cloud or/and on-prem based solutions in accordance with best practices throughout SDLC

  • String Testing during development phase

  • Defect fixing during validation phase.


  • Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Experience and track record in a Technical Sales or Delivery role

  • Knowledge of Supply Chain Management (SCM) with associated qualifications

  • Experience of implementing or demonstrating SCM solutions

  • Understanding of SCM processes and product offerings

  • Understanding of one or more markets / industries where SCM is essential to its operational side of its business

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Good problem-solving capabilities.

  • Ability to work alone or to contribute as a team member.

  • Ability to handle stressful situations with perseverance and professionalism.

  • Availability to travel


  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Supply Chain, Computer Science or a related field preferred
