Job Summary


  • The Business Development Manager (BDM) builds market position by locating, developing, and helping to define and assist in the introductions. This position builds credibility with “net new” key customers, identifies business opportunities, and maintains extensive knowledge of current market conditions. It is the role of the BDM to work with the internal team, marketing staff, and other mangers to increase sales opportunities and thereby maximize revenue.


Experience / Education Requirements:


  • 2 – 3 + years’ proven BDM experience or a bachelor’s degree.

  • Word, PowerPoint, Excel, CRM Systems, Data Entry, Tracking, CRM (Pipedrive a plus)

  • Sales knowledge/ experience · Phone edict · Presentation and writing skills


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Locates key decision makers and sets up meetings with appropriate internal team: practice leads, delivery SME, and potential partners

  • Supply Chain knowledge a plus

  • Must have sales experience in business development (Services or Product)

  • Helps to find and qualify potential business opportunities by cold calling, warm connecting with target companies via email, online, networking, and phone

  • Helps move all the activity to close new business deals by coordinating requirements

  • Protects an organization's value by keeping information confidential

  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations

  • Managing new and existing sales contacts/pipeline and developing new business opportunities/conversations

  • Identify trends and customer needs, building a short/medium/long-term sales pipeline in accordance with targets

  • Assist in the coordination and implementation of marketing campaign follow-ups

  • Document and track all activities within CRM System (Pipedrive)
